1. Heard Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Shri R.S. Umrao, learned Standing Counsel for the Staterespondent Nos.1 to 5.

2. In view of the order proposed to be passed, notices are not being issued to respondent No.6.

3. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that he along with respondent No.6 had participated in selection for the appointment of Anganwadi Karyakarti though the writ petitioner is at serial No.2 and the respondent No.6 is at serial No.1. However with regard to a complaint lodged by the writ petitioner about the entitlement of the respondent No.6, the District Programme Officer, District Meerut has written a letter to the Sub Divisional Magistrate for conducting inquiry, a copy of the same is annexed as Annexure No.6 at page 43 of the paper book, relevant averments whereof has been made in paragraph 13. Prayer int the present writ petition is for direction to conduct inquiry and to give it a logical end.

4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that whatever might be, in case there happens to be a communication to the District Programme Officer, Meerut to Sub Divisional Officer, Sadar Meerut, then the same would be conducted in that regard.

Considering the submissions made across the Bar, the writ petition stands disposed of leaving it open for the respondents to investigate the matter in the light of the communication dated 29.05.2025 strictly in accordance with law after putting to notice the respondent No.6 if they are satisfied that the allegations against the sixth respondent are true, with most expedition.
