1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned
State counsel for opposite parties.

2. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to
opposite party not to proceed with any complaint
against petitioner which is in violation of
Government Order dated 09.05.1997 and other
concomittant prayer has also been made.

3. Liberty is granted to petitioner to amend the
prayer clause to effect challenge to the show cause
notices issued to him.

4. It has been submitted that impugned show cause
notices have been issued on the basis of an alleged
complaint dated 07.10.2025 made by a local
political activist. It is submitted that said
complaint is clearly in violation of Government
Order dated 09.05.1997 since it is not supported by
any affidavit or any verifiable material with
regard to allegations levelled against petitioner
nor does it disclose particulars pertaining to
identity of the complaint.

5. Learned State counsel has not been provided with
any instructions in the matter.

6. In view thereof, list this case on 07.01.2026,
as fresh in order to enable learned State counsel
to obtain instructions particularly whether the
show cuase notices issued to petitioner and
response sought from him is in pursuance of
complaint dated 07.10.2025 or otherwise and whether
the said complaint is supported by any affidavit
and is otherwise in conformity with the Government
Order dated 09.05.1997.

7. Till next date of listing, it is directed that
no punitive action shall be taken against
petitioner in pursuance of complaint dated
