Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.
Ratnesh Chandra, learned counsel for the respondent
nos. 2 to 6 and Mr. Brijendra Singh, learned
counsel for the State.

Present petition has been filed challenging the
orders dated 21.8.2025 and 22.5.2025 passed by the
respondent nos. 3 and 6 respectively by which the
petitioner has been declined for payment of medical
reimbursement.

Contention put forth by the learned counsel for the
petitioner is that the petitioner has been
appointed on 1.2.1981 on the post of Office
Assistant (Grade II) in U.P.S.R.TC. and as per the
Government Order issued by the State Government on
11.7.2016, he is entitled for the medical
reimbursement. Further submission is that
admittedly, the treatment of the petitioner has
been done in the private hospital but the same has
been done after reference by the Chief Medical
Officer. Therefore, submission is that the
petitioner is entitled for the medical

reimbursement though the authorities have wrongly
rejected the claim of the petitioner, vide order
dated 21.8.2025.

On the other hand, Mr. Ratnesh Chandra, learned
counsel for the respondent nos. 2 to 6 prays for
and is granted three weeks time to file counter
affidavit.

List this matter in week commencing 12.1.2026
within top twenty cases.
