Heard Sri Umesh Singh, learned counsel for petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the material available on record.

By means of present writ petition the petitioner has prayed for following relief:

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents more specially opposite party no.4 to consider the candidature of petitioner for appointment on the post of ASHA ( (Accredited Social Health Activist) under National Health Mission in Village - Parvatpur (Ganeshpur), Post Masoda (Saidahi), District - Ambedkar Nagar in pursuance of Government order dated 4.3.2014, in the interest of justice."

After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner shall be substantially redressed in case respondent no. 4 - Chief Medical Officer, Ambedkar Nagar is directed to consider and decide the representation dated 21.09.2024 (Annexure No.11 to the petition) of the petitioner in a time bound manner.

Learned Standing Counsel does not oppose the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner.

In light of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction respondent no. 4 - Chief Medical Officer, Ambedkar Nagar to consider and decide the representation dated 21.09.2024 within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
