Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned standing counsel for respondent no.5, Village Gram Panchayat.
The grievance raised in the present writ petition pertains to removal of unauthorized encroachment upon Gata No. 57, measuring 0.320 hectare, situated at Village Sarwa, Police Station Phoolbehad, District Khiri.
Learned counsel for the State as well as learned counsel for respondent no. 5, Gram Panchayat, on the basis of instructions, have submitted that steps have already been taken and the unauthorized encroachment has been removed from the land in question. Thus, the purpose of filing the present writ petition stands served, once the unauthorized encroachment has been removed by the State Authorities.
Even otherwise, the petition, filed in public interest, does not disclose the credentials of the petitioner, who may have the locus to institute the proceedings.
Accordingly, without commenting on maintainability of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of .
