This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking quashing of the allotment dated 28.05.1999, whereby the land has been allotted to respondent No. 5.

Various submissions have been made in the petition seeking to indicate that as the land in question has not been put to the use for which the same was allotted, the allotment be cancelled.

A perusal of the petition indicates that the petitioner has, for the first time on 01.12.2025, sent a cursory representation to three authorities by post and on 11.12.2025, has filed the petition with documents, which clearly reflects that the Gram Sabha is attempting to take over the land in question.

Filing of the petition, purportedly in public interest, at the behest of someone else, cannot be countenanced.

The petitioner, apparently, has not projected his credentials for raising the cause in question. The very fact that the only representation has been

made on 01.12.2025, necessarily means that only with a view to file this petition, the representation has been made.

Such nature of petitions cannot be entertained, the same is, therefore, dismissed.
