There is a preliminary objection raised by the counsel for the respondents regarding the maintainability of this petition as a public interest litigation. They have pointed out paragraph no.3 of the writ petition, wherein the petitioner has stated that he is a resident of Rashmikhand, Sharda Nagar, Post Dilkusha, District Lucknow and a practicing advocate and he has interest in social work for the welfare of the public at large. Therefore, he has filed this writ petition.
