Heard learned counsel for the applicant, Shri Pramod Kumar Singh, learned State Law Officer for the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is complainant in Case No.1259 of 2022 [Old Case No.1827 of 2012] (Vinod Kumar Vs. Dr. Anil Sharma) U/s 138 of N.I. Act, Police Station Kavinagar, District Ghaziabad, which is pending before the court of Additional Court No.2, District Ghaziabad.

Learned counsel has stated that the aforesaid case is pending since the year 2012. No substantial progress has been made till date in the said case and the case is being adjourned for one reason or another. The opposite party no.2 is adopting delaying tactics in lingering the proceeding of the case. Learned counsel, therefore, prays that a direction be issued to the learned trial court to decide the said case as expeditiously as possible.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant, the concerned trial court is directed to expedite the proceeding and make all endeavour to decide the aforesaid case, preferably within a period of six months from
