Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that a co-ordinate Bench of this Court had directed expeditious disposal of Misc. Case Nos. 844 of 2020, 947 of 2020, 578 of 2021, 507 of 2022, 653 of 2023 and 629 of 2024 vide order dated 21.05.2025. However, no substantial progress has been made pursuant to the said order.

In light of the submission made by learned counsel for the appellant, the order passed in Application U/s 529 BNSS No. 1538 of 2025 (Smt. Zainab Begum vs. State of U.P. and another), along with the present application, has been perused.

The following prayer has been made by learned counsel for the appellant in the present application for expeditious disposal of the following cases:

"(i) Misc. Case No. 36 of 2020 (Smt. Shashi Prabha @ Shashi vs. Manish Kumar), under Section 128 Cr.P.C., Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Etah, dated 28.01.2020.

(ii) Misc. Case No. 42 of 2021 (Smt. Shashi Prabha @ Shashi vs. Manish Kumar), under Section 128 Cr.P.C., Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Etah, dated 22.01.2021.

(iii) Misc. Case No. 28 of 2022 (Smt. Shashi Prabha @ Shashi vs. Manish Kumar), under Section 128 Cr.P.C., Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Etah, dated 18.01.2022.

From perusal of the present application and the earlier order passed by the co-ordinate Bench, it is apparent that the direction for expeditious disposal was issued in Misc. Case Nos. 844 of 2020, 947 of 2020, 578 of 2021, 507 of 2022, 653 of 2023 and 629 of 2024 in Application U/s 529 BNSS No. 1538 of 2025. However, the cases for which expeditious disposal is sought in the present application are altogether different, said cases are Misc. Case No. 36 of 2020, Misc. Case No. 42 of 2021, Misc. Case No. 28 of 2022, Misc. Case No. 28 of 2023 and Misc. Case No. 30 of 2024.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the applicant is directed to clarify the following on the next date:

(i) Whether the cases mentioned in the earlier order (Misc. Case Nos. 844 of 2020, 947 of 2020, 578 of 2021, 507 of 2022, 653 of 2023 and 629 of 2024) are the same as those mentioned in the present application (Misc. Case Nos. 36 of 2020, 42 of 2021, 28 of 2022, 28 of 2023 and 30 of 2024).

(ii) Whether the cases mentioned in the present application are pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Etah or before the Court of Additional Sessions Judge/FTC Court No. 2, Etah.
