Heard Sri Shashank Dwivedi, Advocate, Holding Brief of Sri Rajiv Sisodia, learned counsel for the applicants and Ms. Harshita Rani, learned A.G.A. for the State.

The instant application under Section 528 BNSS has been filed seeking quashing of the charge-sheet no. 17 of 2024 dated 22.05.2024, entire proceedings as well as summoning order dated 21.01.2025 passed in Case No. 514 of 2025 (State of U.P. Vs. Tausif and Others), arising out of Case Crime No. 31 of 2023, under Sections 498A, 323, 506 I.P.C. and Sections 3/4 of the D.P. Act and Section 3/4 of Muslim Women (Protection of Right of Marriage) Act, 2019, with respect to applicant no. 1 under Sections 498A, 323, 506 I.P.C. and Sections 3/4 of the D.P. Act and with respect to applicants no. 2 to 6, under Sections 498A, 323, 354-B, 504 I.P.C. and Sections 3/4 of the D.P. Act and with respect to applicant no. 7 to 10, u/s 3/4 of D.P. Act, P.S.- Mahila Thana, District-Bijnor, pending in the court of learned Civil Judge, Junior Division/(FTC-II), Bijnor.

Learned counsel of the applicants submits that the applicant no.1 is the husband of the daughter of the opposite party no.2 and there was some discord between the parties due to which the instant F.I.R. was lodged by opposite party no.2 against the applicant herein, however, after submission of charge-sheet, the parties have settled their disputes amicably and a compromise has been executed on 29.08.2025 between the parties and the

certified copy of compromise has been annexed as Annexure '3' to the instant application. In view of the settlement of the matrimonial dispute, learned counsel for the applicants seeks quashing of the entire proceedings of the instant case on the basis of the aforesaid compromise.

Learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2 and learned A.G.A. have accepted the settlement and they have no objection if the parties will appear before the trial court for verification of compromise.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the parties are directed to appeared to before the trial court for verification of compromise dated 29.08.2025 within a period of two weeks from today. Upon such appearance of the parties in the instant case and presentation of the original compromise dated 29.08.2025, the trial court shall proceed to verify the compromise in accordance with law and send a report to this Court within two weeks thereafter. In the meantime, the parties shall also file certified copy of the compromise as well as the order verifying the compromise by the next date of listing by way of supplementary affidavit.

List this matter on 11.12.2025 in daily cause list.

Till the next date of listing, no coercive action shall be taken against the applicants herein.
