Heard Sri Akhilesh Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel for the applicants and Sri Sampurna Nand, learned counsel for respondent no. 2 and learned AGA.

By means of instant application u/s 528 BNSS, the applicants have prayed for quashing the entire proceedings of Session Trial No. 523 of 2023 (State vs. Raj Kumar and others) in Case Crime no. 135 of 2017, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 356, 504, 506, 308 IPC, P.S. Mungara, Badshahpur, District Jaunpur on the basis of compromise dated 4.4.2025 pending before Additional Sessions Judge, IVth, Jaunpur.

Learned counsel for the applicants at the outset submitted that this Court was pleased to refer the compromise entered between the parties for verification vide order dated 27.6.2025. In said order the parties were directed to appear before the court on 16.7.2025 and submit compromise which shall be verified by the court concerned and report in this regard shall be submitted before this Court and interim order was also passed. He next submitted that learned trial court has filed compliance report dated 21.7.2025 wherein copy of compromise and verification order has been annexed.

In view of the compromise entered between the parties and also quantum of punishment prescribed for the offence, criminal proceedings are liable to be quashed.
