- Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner no.2 is the second wife of petitioner no.1. Their marriage was solemnized following the demise of petitioner no.1's first wife. It is further stated that a male child was born out of the said wedlock.
- It is alleged that respondent nos.4 and 5, who are the sons of petitioner no.1 from his first marriage, have unlawfully detained petitioner no.1. It is further contended that, as per the police report, the alleged illegal confinement appears to be motivated by pecuniary gain. Additionally, it is submitted that petitioner no.2 is not being provided with any form of maintenance or financial support.
- Considering the nature of the allegations, the Station House Officer, Police Station Dehat Kotwali, District Mirzapur, is directed to record the statement of petitioner no.1 and submit a detailed report before this Court on the next date of hearing.
