We have heard both the parties and their learned counsels.

There is a dispute regarding the payment of maintenance in a timely manner in pursuance of the order passed by the Additional Principal Judge, Family Court-5, Lucknow dated 08.01.2024.

However, both parties have agreed that they will try to settle their dispute amicably through mediation.

The appellant, Smt. Pranjali Tiwari resides in Banda, Uttar Pradesh and the respondent, Shri Mrigank Srivastava is a Development Officer in Life Insurance Corporation of India (L.I.C.), posted at Kashipur, Uttarakhand.

Since both parties reside in different cities, we had put a specific query as to when it would be possible for them to come to Lucknow for mediation at the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court to try and settle their dispute.

It has been informed that there are certain unavoidable responsibilities of the respondent which he needs to attend to before he can apply for leave from his employer.

We, therefore, direct both the parties to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court w.e.f. 01.12.2025.

The Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court is directed to conduct the proceedings on a day-to-day basis, as far as possible, so that some
