Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondents no.1 to 3, and Sri Ratnesh Trivedi, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.4.

Instant petition has been filed praying for quashing of the first information report dated 17.09.2025 bearing no.0253 of 2025 under Sections 115(2), 117(1), 118(1) & 352 B.N.S., 2023 (corresponding Sections 323, 322, 324, 504 I.P.C) and Section 3(1)(dha) and 3(2)(va) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, lodged at Police Station Sharda Nagar, District Lakhimpur Kheri. Further prayer is for a mandamus commanding the respondents no.2 & 3 not to arrest the petitioners till the verification of the compromise made between the parties or till further order of this Hon'ble Court.

Upon filing of the petition, it was contended that the petitioners and respondent no.4 have entered into a compromise vide the compromise deed dated 06.10.2025, a copy of which is Annexure-2 to the petition.

This Court vide order dated 15.10.2025 had required the compromise deed to be placed before the learned Senior Registrar of this Court for verification of the said compromise.

In pursuance to the order of this Court dated 15.10.2025, the Senior Registrar of this Court vide his report dated 30.10.2025 has verified the compromise between the petitioners and respondent no.4.

As per the said compromise, the petitioners and respondent no.4 have agreed to end the dispute between themselves amicably.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is allowed. The proceedings of FIR No.0253 of 2025 under Sections 115(2), 117(1), 118(1), 352 B.N.S., 2023 (corresponding Sections 323, 322, 324, 504 I.P.C) and Section 3(1)(dha) and 3(2)(va) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, lodged at Police Station Sharda Nagar, District Lakhimpur Kheri, are hereby quashed.
