Heard Shri Ayush Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State.

This Court had passed the following order on 24.10.2024:-

"i. Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to conduct free, fair and impartial investigation and to also ensure fair, speedy and effective Investigation with regard to the FIR dated 08/08/2024 bearing FIR No. 540/2024, U/Ss. 316, 338, 336, 340, 318 BNS, P.S. Kotwali Nagar, District- Sultanpur (as contained in Annexure-1), in the interest of justice.

ii. Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondents authorities to arrest the Respondent No. 4 to 9 in FIR dated 08/08/2024 bearing FIR No. 540/2024, U/Ss. 316, 338, 336, 340, 318 BNS, P.S. Kotwali Nagar, District- Sultanpur, in the interest of justice."

Learned AGA for the State, on the basis of instructions dated 12.10.2025 received from Shri Arvind Kumar Ram, SubInspector/Investigating Officer, Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Sultanpur, which has been produced before this Court and taken on record, submits that the reminder for the forensic report has been sent on

09.10.2025 with the special messenger to the Forensic Science Laboratory, Ramnagar, Varanasi and after receipt of the FSL report, the investigation shall be concluded expeditiously.

In view of above, the petition is disposed of in terms of the statement of learned AGA for the State with the direction to the Forensic Science Laboratory, Ramnagar Varanasi to forward the FSL report to the Investigating Officer expeditiously and in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, which shall be forwarded to the laboratory concerned by the Investigating Officer within a period of two weeks from today and on receipt of the said report, the investigation shall be concluded expeditiously.

In case of any grievance to the petitioner, he may avail the appropriate remedy in terms of Sakiri Vasu v. State of U.P., (2008) 2 SCC 409.
