Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the State and perused the records.

This petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following main prayers:

"I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the first information report dt. 07.05.2025 bearing Case Crime No. 196 of 2025 Under Section 84, 351(3) BNS, Section 3, 4 Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Police Station Nanpara District Bahraich in the interest of justice. Copy of FIR dt. 07.05.2025 is annexed herewith as Annexure No. 1 to this petition.

II. Issue a writ, order or direction in nature of MANDAMUS directing the State opposite parties more specifically to the opposite party No. 3 not to arrest the petitioner in pursuance to the F.I.R. dt. 07.05.2025 bearing Case Crime No. 196 of 2025 Under Section 84, 351(3) BNS, Section 3, 4 Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Police Station Nanpara District Bahraich in the interest of justice. Copy of FIR dt. 07.05.2025 is annexed herewith as Annexure No. 1 to this petition."

The learned A.G.A. on the basis of instructions sent by Sub Inspector, Nanpara, District Bahraich says that certain Sections have been added during course of the investigation.

The writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh petition.
