Heard Sri Sajjad Husain, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.

This petition has been filed challenging an F.I.R. bearing Case Crime No.0298/2025, under Section 105 B.N.S., Police Station Kotwali Dehat, District Balrampur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is neither named in the impugned F.I.R. nor he has any concern but the police is unnecessarily harassing the petitioner.

Learned A.G.A., on the basis of instructions dated 18.10.2025 received from Sri Ram Kishun Chauhan, Sub Inspector, Police Station Kotwali Dehat, District Balrampur submits that after lodging of the F.I.R., investigation is going on and on the basis of investigation, till date allegations against the named accused, Manoj Singh have been found prima facie, however, nothing has been reported regarding the petitioner. The said instructions are taken on record.

Learned A.G.A. further submits that not even a single instance of harassment of the petitioner by the police or the person concerned has been given and this petition has been filed with vague allegations for ulterior motive.

Faced with above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition may be dismissed as not pressed. To which, there is no objection by the other side.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as not pressed.
