Heard learned counsel for the appellant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the material available on record.

The instant appeal has been preferred under Section 14-A(1) of Schedules Castes & Schedules Tribes( Prevention of Atrocities) Act against the filing of charge-sheet in Criminal Case No. 56 of 2025 as well as summoning order dated 11.03.2025 passed by learned Special Court of Juvenile Justice Board, Pragapgarh arising out Crime No. 355 of 2024 under Sections 115(2), 352, 351(3) BNS and Section 3(1)(da), 3(1)(dha), 3(2)(va) of SC/ST Act, P.S. Baghrai, District Pratapgarh.

After arguing the matter up to some length, learned counsel for the applicant submits that he does not want to press this application on merit and he confines his prayer only to the extent that applicant may be permitted to move discharge application through counsel and suitable directions may be issued for expeditious disposal of the same.

Learned A.G.A. has no objection in grant of aforesaid prayer.

In view of above, it is provided that applicant may move his discharge application through counsel within six weeks from today and, in case, any such application is filed, same shall be heard and decided expeditiously after hearing the parties in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned and speaking order.

Till the aforesaid period of six weeks and during pendency of discharge application, no coercive steps shall be taken against the applicant in the aforesaid case.
