Instant contempt application has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 7.2.2025 passed by this Court in Writ-B No. 448 of 2025 (Aditya Pratap Singh Vs. State of U.P. And 4 Others), which is reproduced hereunder :

"1. Heard Sri A.P. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Babban Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State and Sri Sudhir Bharti, learned Standing Counsel for the State.

2. The instant petition has been filed for the following reliefs:-

"i. TO ISSUE a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent no. REV/3162/2024 [Computerized Case No. AL20240544003162] (Aditya Pratap Singh Vs. SDM Tamkuhi and others) under Section 333 of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, 1950 [filed as Annexure No. 1 to this Writ Petition] at the earliest within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court to secure the ends of justice.

ii. TO ISSUE any other & further order, as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit & proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case.

iii. TO AWARD costs of the writ petition to the Petitioner."

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that revision filed on behalf of the petitioner is pending before respondent no. 2-Board of Revenue, U.P. at Allahabad/Prayagraj, since 25.07.2024. He further placed the copy of the order-sheet of the pending proceeding, which is annexed as annexure no. 2 to the instant petition in order to demonstrate that the matter is not proceeding expeditiously.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the instant petition is finally disposed of directing to respondent no. 2-Board of Revenue, U.P. at Allahabad/Prayagraj to decide the aforementioned revision, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the parties expeditiously,

preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of the order of this Court.

Let a report be called for from the Registrar, Board of Revenue, Prayagraj, U.P., seeking instructions of learned Member, Board of Revenue, with regard to the pendency and disposal of the aforesaid case, on or before the next date fixed.

Registrar (Compliance) is hereby directed to communicate this order to the Registrar, Board of Revenue, Prayagraj, U.P., to submit instructions of Member, Board of Revenue on or before the next date fixed.
