The present contempt petition has been filed for alleged noncompliance of the order dated 13.09.2024 passed in Writ-A No.7833 of 2024, the relevant extract of the order is quoted hereinbelow:

"6. In view of the above, without entering into merits of the issue, the instant writ petition is being disposed of finally at the admission stage permitting the petitioner to prefer a fresh representation to the opposite party No.3 i.e. the Executive Engineer, Prantiya Khand, Public Works Department, Ayodhya taking all pleas and grounds which are available with him annexing therewith copy of his earlier representation, if any, and the relevant documents in support of his claim within a period of ten days from today, and if any such representation is preferred by the petitioner within the aforesaid stipulated time, the authority concerned shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order, with expedition say within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order along with representation and the decision thereof be intimated to the petitioner forthwith.

7. In view of the aforesaid terms, the instant writ petition is disposed of finally. "

Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of the instruction dated 27.01.2025 received from the respondent has submitted that in pursuance of the order of the writ court the representation of the applicant has been decided, copy of which has been sent to the applicant and photocopy of the same has been provided to the learned counsel for the applicant.

Learned counsel for the applicant has very fairly submitted that the representation of the applicant has been decided and for all practical purposes, the present contempt petition has become infructuous and the same may be dismissed as infructuous.

As such, the present contempt application is dismissed as infructuous.
