CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. 338 of 2025 - High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, Hon'ble Rajeev Singh, J.; Order dated 21.7.2025. Applicant Sri Pal Yadav @ Shri Pal had moved the Court in contempt over compliance with the directions of the writ court concerning payment of his salary. Sri Sunil Bajpai, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, Sri Kumar Harsh, Collector, District Sultanpur, submitted that an affidavit of compliance duly sworn by the Collector had already been filed and was on record; that pursuant to the direction issued by the writ court the salary bills of the applicant had been transmitted to the Treasury Officer concerned; and that the amount in question had been credited to the applicant's account. Considering the contents of the writ court's order and of the affidavit of compliance, the Court held that the order of the writ court had been complied with and that the present contempt application had lost its efficacy. Accordingly, the contempt application was dismissed, while it was left open to the applicant that in case the amount was not credited in his account he might move a recall application.
