1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
2. By means of the instant petition, the applicant alleges willful disobedience of the order dated 08.07.2024 passed by the Court in Matters Under Article 227 No.3096 of 2024, whereby a year's time was granted to the Sessions Court to complete the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties unless there was any legal impediment or a stay from the higher court.
3. It is stated that the order dated 08.07.2024, passed by the High Court, was brought to the notice of the Sessions Court on 08.08.2024 and since a period of one year has elapsed and the trial has not concluded, the respondent is guilty of wilful and deliberate disobedience.
4. Having considered the aforesaid and upon perusal of the material on record, it may be true that the writ Court had granted a year's time to complete the trial, but the fact remains that there are no accentuating circumstances to indicate that the court concerned has deliberately violated the order or that there has been any neglect, prima facie, in proceeding with the matter which may warrant contempt proceedings against the judicial officer.
5. In view of the aforesaid, this Court does not find any merit in the petition. According, it is dismissed .
