1. This application under Section 483 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to direct the court concerned to expedite and conclude the trial of complaint case no.2305 of 2022 (Pramod Dutt Sharma Vs. Rakesh Kumar Pandey and another) under section 138 Negotiable Instrument Act, Police Station Attarsuiya, District Prayagraj (Allahabad) pending in the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No.7, Allahabad expeditiously within a stipulated period.

1. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that after submission of charge-sheet, the court concerned took cognizance and summoned the accused / opposite party no.2, but after a lapse of more than one and half year the proceedings of the case are standing at its initial stage and till date no charges have been framed so far in the matter. The trial court is not taking effective steps to expedite the proceedings of the case and to conclude the trial.

1. In view of that, let a report be called for from the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No.7, Allahabad in respect of year-wise number of cases pending in its Court, by the next date of listing.
