Heard Shri Satish Kumar Mishra, Advocate holding brief of Shri Nanhe Lal Tripathi, Learned counsel for the applicant, Learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the material brought on the record.

Challenge in the present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is to the entire proceedings of Complaint Case No.3657 of 2019 (Smt. Sonali vs. Shyamji Verma), under Sections 494 IPC, Police Station-Kotwali, District-Jaunpur, pending before the Additional Chief Judicial MagistrateV, Jaunpur.

The matter was referred for mediation to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court Allahabad vide order dated 25.04.2024.

Today, Shri Satish Kumar Mishra, Advocate states that the mediation was successful, the parties have amicably decided to part ways and in pursuance to the agreement arrived at before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, proceedings under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act have been instituted before the Family Court, Jaunpur. There is a report of the Allahabad High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre dated 26.11.2024, which contains a settlement agreement duly signed by the parties in view of which no dispute remains including the one pending before this Court. A copy of the settlement agreement be annexed to this order as Annexure 'A'.

The offence complained of in the present proceedings is under Section 494 IPC, which as per the provisions of Section 320(2) Cr.P.C. is compoundable with the permission of the Court.

Learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents could not dispute the aforesaid facts.
