Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned AGA for the State-respondent.

This application has been filed by applicants for quashing the entire proceedings of Complaint Case No.5619 of 2017, Smt. Sonal Sachan Vs. Gyanendra and others, under Sections 406, 506 I.P.C., Police Station Naubasta, District Kanpur Nagar pending in the court of Additional Civil Judge (S.D.) IVth, Kanpur Nagar, on the basis of compromise arrived between the parties.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the parties have entered into a compromise. As per the report of the District Judge, Kanpur Nagar dated 4.10.2025 the compromise application has not been filed by either of the parties, although learned counsel for the applicant disputes the same. He submits that the parties may be permitted to file a fresh compromise application before the court concerned and the court concerned may be directed to verify the same.

Learned A.G.A. submits that the compromise effected between the parties may be verified before the court concerned.
