Heard Shri Anand Prakash Dubey, learned counsel for the applicants, Shri S.D.Shukla, learned AGA for the State.

This application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred for quashing of the entire criminal proceedings in Case No. 16081 of 2020( State Vs. Bundu and others), under Sections 323, 504, 506 I.P.C., police station Lalkurti, District Meerut including charge-sheet dated 18.11.2018 as well as cognizance taking taking dated 21.10.2020, pending in the court of learned Additional Civil Judge (JD) Court No. 1, Meerut on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

It is contended by learned counsel for the applicants that both the parties have entered into compromise and the same has been verified by the court concerned. A report regarding the same is on record. It has also prayed that the proceedings of the present case be also quashed against the applicants in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties.

Learned A.G.A. has no objection if parties compromise the matter.

I have considered the submissions and perused the record.

Both the parties have amicably settled all the disputes and they have agreed for withdrawal of all cases, including present case, pending between the parties and the same has been verified by the court concerned. A report regarding the same is available on record.

Considering the law laid down in the case of State of Madhya Pradesh Vs. Laxmi Narayan and others, AIR 2019 SC 1296 and the facts of the matter, it would be in the interest of justice that the impugned proceedings be quashed.

In view of the aforesaid, the entire criminal proceedings in Case No. 16081 of 2020( State Vs. Bundu and others), under Sections 323, 504, 506 I.P.C., police station Lalkurti, District Meerut including charge-sheet dated 18.11.2018 as well as cognizance taking taking dated 21.10.2020, pending in the court of learned Additional Civil Judge (JD) Court No. 1, Meerut are hereby quashed against the applicants.

The application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. is allowed
