Heard Sri Alok Kumar Singh, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Arun Kumar Pandey, learned State Law Officer and Sri Ravindra Kumar Singh, Advocate, who has put in appearance and filed Vakalatnama on behalf of the opposite party No. 4 in the Court today, which is taken on record, as well as perused the record.

In terms of this Court's order dated 13.11.2025, Smt. Lakshmi (Detenue) is present before this Court duly identified by Sri Sri Alok Kumar Singh, Advocate.

The instant petition has been preferred seeking following main relief(s):-

"i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Habeas Corpus commanding Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to produce the detenue Smt. Lakshmi (w/o Rohit d'o Prithvi Pal) before this Hon'ble Court forthwith and set her at liberty.

ii. Direct that the detenue, being a major and legally wedded wife of the petitioner, be permitted to reside with the petitioner if she so desires, without interference from respondents or any person."

Taking note of the statement of Smt. Lakshmi (Detenue) present before this Court that she does not want to accompany Rohit, through whom the instant petition has been filed, on being confronted, the learned counsel for the petitioner says that he does not want to press the instant petition and it may accordingly be dismissed as withdrawn.
