Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel appears for the State Respondents No. 1 to 5 and Sri Ram Janak Yadav, Advocate who has filed his vakalatnama on behalf of the opposite party no. 10, which is taken on record.

This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayers:-

" (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties specially opposite party no.2 i.e. District Magistrate, District- Sitapur to cancel and delete the name of the opposite party no. 8, 9 and 10 from the succession certificate dated 09.01.2018 contained in Annexure No. 2 to this writ petition forthwith, in the interest of justice.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party no.2 i.e. District Magistrate, District- Sitapur to decide the representation dated 03.07.2024 made by the petitioner by a speaking and reasoned order within a period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice. "

Issue notice to the opposite parties no. 8 and 9.

The petitioner shall take steps both ways within a week and file an affidavit of service within two weeks, thereafter.

List this case on 12.08.2024 alongwith record of Writ Petition No. 14443 (Service Single) of 2018, 'Ajay Kumar Awasthi and Another Vs. State of U.P. and Others', as fresh.

In the meantime, pleadings be exchanged between the parties.
