Learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 to 15 submits that against the impugned award the appeal lies under section 17 of the Payment of Wages Act.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner has remedy to file an appeal.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the appellate authority.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the appellate authority within a period of one month.
