Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

Petitioner has filed this writ petition inter alia praying therein for the following reliefs:-

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay the arrear of January 2016 to December 2016 as per Government order of the Seventh Pay Commission and Second A.C.P. (Assured Career Promotion) which was completed in year 2011 and further be pleased to direct the respondent no.2 & 3 to consider and decide the claim of petitioner contained in representation dated 18.04.2024 for the Arrear of January, 2016 to December, 2016 as per Government order of the Seventh Pay Commission & Second A.C.P. (Assured Career Promotion) which was completed in year 2011.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent nos. 1 & 2 to consider and decide the claim of petitioner contained in representation dated 18.04.2024."

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner had already filed a representation on 18.4.2024 before Respondent No.2 but till date he has not taken any decision in the matter.

On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has very fairly submitted that ends of justice would be served if a direction is issued by this Court thereby commanding Respondent No.2 to consider and decide petitioner's representation dated 18.4.2024.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this writ petition is finally disposed of with liberty to petitioner to file a fresh comprehensive representation before Respondent No.2 within two weeks from

today and if such representation is filed, Respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's representation by passing a speaking and reasoned order within a period of two months thereafter.
