Heard Shri Jaideep Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri R.A. Maurya, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

By means of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following main relief(s):-

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding/directing the opposite party no.2 to decide the statutory revision dated 04.06.2024 submitted by registered post on 06.06.2024 contained in annexure no.1 to this writ petition within the time schedule to be fixed by the Hon'ble High Court. "

Learned counsel for the petitioner has made an innocuous prayer that a direction may be issued to the opposite party no. 2 i.e., Principal Secretary Cane and Sugar Industries, U.P. Civil Secretariat, Lucknow to consider and dispose of the statutory revision dated 4.6.2024 of the petitioner with expedition.

Learned Standing Counsel has no objection, if a direction for disposal of the aforesaid statutory revision is issued.

Therefore, without entering into merits of the issue, this writ petition is disposed of finally at the admission stage directing the opposite party no.2 i.e., Principal Secretary Cane and Sugar Industries, U.P. Civil Secretariat, Lucknow to consider and dispose of the aforesaid statutory revision of the petitioner

dated 4.6.2024 (Annexure-1) by speaking and reasoned order strictly in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, if it is so required, with expedition preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and the decision thereof shall be intimated to the petitioner forthwith.
