Heard learned counsel for petitioner and Mr. Abhay Kumar learned Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties.

Petition has been filed challenging order dated 20th February, 2023 whereby petitioner has been placed under deemed suspension in view of the fact that he has been under judicial custody.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that subsequently the petitioner has been enlarged on bail by this Court vide order dated 13th July, 2023 and thereafter submitted a representation on 28th October, 2023 for resumption of his services but the said representation is still pending consideration. At present learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same.

Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party No. 3 i.e. Deputy General Manager (ERD), Union Bank of India, Central Office, Mumbai, Maharashtrta is directed to decide representation dated 28th October, 2023 within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is submitted before him. The petitioner shall annex a copy of the aforesaid representation dated 28th October, 2023 along with copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
