Heard Shri R.B. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the Staterespondents.

The petitioner superannuated from service on 30.06.2017. The only grievance of the petitioner is that his services rendered from 13.05.1980 to 26.08.1989 in the office of District Panchayatraj Adhikari, Fatehpur have not been counted for determining the pension of the petitioner and other retiral dues.

The only prayer made by the petitioner is that the representation of the petitioner for retiral dues may be decided within stipulated period of time.

Learned Standing Counsel contends that the matter requires factual adjudication as per the applicable law in the first instance by the competent authority. He further submits that the matter is liable to be decided within a reasonable period of time.

In the wake of preceding discussions and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent No. 2-District Development Officer, District Fatehpur is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner regarding

counting of services, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation.

Writ petition is disposed of.
