Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Nitin Mathur, learned Additional Chief Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 1 and Sri Uttam Kumar Verma, learned counsel for the respondents no. 2 & 3.

Instant writ petition has been filed praying for quashing of the order dated 30.12.2019 passed by the respondent no. 1, a copy of which is annexure 1 to the writ petition. A further prayer is for giving the benefit of the Career Advancement Scheme under the University Gram Commission to the petitioner and to count his previous service w.e.f 1995 to 2007.

There is consensus amongst the parties that subsequent to filing of the instant writ petition, the State Government has issued an order dated 13.12.2022, a copy of which is annexure 9 to the rejoinder affidavit and it is prayed that the competent as indicated in the said order i.e Vice Chancellor of the University be required to consider the claim of the petitioner in terms of the said order issued by the State Government.

To the aforesaid prayer, Sri Nitin Mathur, learned Additional Chief Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 1 and Sri Uttam Kumar Verma, learned counsel for the respondents no. 2 & 3 have no objection.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the competent authority who is said to be the Vice Chancellor of the University i.e the respondent no. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner under the Carrer Advancement Scheme in terms of the order dated 13.12.2022 which has been issued by the State Government.

Let such consideration be done within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Needless to mention that in case the petitioner is found entitled for any benefit , the same would be extended to him.
