Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents and Shri Lalit Shukla, learned counsel for the respondent No.2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with regard to the relief sought in the writ petition, the petitioner may be permitted to submit a representation before the respondent No.1 which may be directed to be decided with fixed time frame to which learned counsels for the respondents have no objection.

In view of the above, it is provided that in case the petitioners submit fresh representation before the respondent No.1 within a period of two weeks' from today then the respondent No.1 shall endeavour to decide the same within a further period of eight weeks by means of reasoned and speaking order on receipt of a certified copy of this order along with representation.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim set forth by the petitioners.
