Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned AGA for the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the detenue is the wife of the petitioner and she has been illegally detained by her father. While drawing attention of this court towards some photographs and certificate issued by Arya Samaj Bena Jhabar, Kanpur Nagar, it is claimed that the detenue is the wife of the petitioner. It is also submitted that in order to show his bonafide the petitioner is ready to deposit Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with the court which, in the eventuality of presence of the detenue before this court, may be paid to her.

Learned AGA states that some reasonable time may be granted to him for obtaining detailed instructions in the matter.

Let Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand), as stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, be deposited with the Senior Registrar of this bench within three days from today.

By the said date, the State shall procure complete instructions in the matter from the appropriate authority.
