1. Heard learned counsel for the revisionist as well as learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the revisionist, while referring to the impugned order of date 03.08.2024 passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Ambedkar Nagar, in Maintenance Petition No.68/2022 (Pramila & others Vs. Rajaram), vehemently submits that a material illegality and jurisdictional error has been committed by the Family Court while granting maintenance to respondent nos. 2, 4 and 5 as admittedly the respondent no. 4 was/is major and respondent no. 5, during the pendency of the proceedings, has attained majority and, therefore, no maintenance, in view of Section 125 (1)(b) Cr.P.C., may be granted in their favour and the impugned order is required to be interfered by this Court.

1. It is further submitted that the Family Court has not given any reason for awarding the maintenance from the date of application, while it was obliged to assign special reason(s) for awarding maintenance from the date of moving of the application.
