Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.G.A. for the State, learned Counsel for respondent No.4 and perused the material placed on record.

By means of this petition, petitioner has sought issuance of direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the First Information Report dated 18.11.2024 bearing FIR/Case Crime No.0475 of 2024 under Section 316(2) and 318(4) of B.N.S., 2023 lodged at Police Station-Sarojni Nagar, District-Lucknow.

In furtherance of the order dated 13.12.2024, the respondent No.4 is present in person before this Court and learned Counsel for the petitioner has deposited an amount of Rs.4,00,000/before the Senior Registrar of this Court.

Both petitioner-Mr. Santosh Yadav Alias Ismail @ Mohd. Adil and respondent No.4, namely-Nirbhay Narayan Singh agree to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court for settlement of their dispute amicably.

Accordingly, the matter is referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. Let the parties appear before the Mediation Centre on 06.01.2025. The Mediation Centre shall conclude the mediation proceedings and submit its report within a period of six weeks.

List this case on 17.02.2025.

Interim order, if any, shall continue till the next date of listing.

It is further directed that the respondent No.4 is posted in Armed forces, thus, he is permitted to participate in the

mediation proceedings through video conferencing and he will also authorize a person on his behalf to appear before the mediation proceedings in person.
