Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

By means of this writ petition, the petitioners have sought quashing of the First Information Report dated 14.01.2024 registered as F.I.R./Case Crime No.0017 of 2024, under Sections 323, 354, 377, 498-A, 504, 506 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Gazipur, District Lucknow North (Commissionerate Lucknow).

The Mediation and Conciliation Center, High Court, Lucknow has submitted its report dated 27.08.2024 along with the settlement entered into between the parties (placed on connected writ petition, i.e. Crl. Misc. Writ Petition No.2142 of 2024), whereby the parties have settled their dispute amicably.

According to the terms of the compromise, parties have settled their dispute amicably. They further agreed to withdraw the cases filed against each other including First Information Report dated 14.01.2024 registered as F.I.R./Case Crime No.0017 of 2024, under Sections 323, 354, 377, 498-A, 504, 506 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Gazipur, District Lucknow North (Commissionerate Lucknow).

Learned counsel for the parties state that even the amount under the said agreement stands settled between the parties and that there are no further claims or demands against each other with respect to the matter involved in the present writ petition.

Considering the terms of settlement, we, accordingly, quash the FIR. All proceedings/investigation which may have been

held consequent thereto are also quashed and the writ petition is allowed .

The Senior Registrar of this Court shall communicate this order to the Court concerned for correcting its record, accordingly.

Learned A.G.A. shall communicate this order to the investigating officer concerned.
