"As he record reveals that the petitioner is a permanent resident of Chitrakoot whereas he had mentioned his present and permanent address, both to be District Pratapgarh in the application for obtaining the arms license and for this reason the arms license was granted to him only after obtaining a report from the Superintendent of Police, Pratapgarh and no report was obtained from the Superintendent of Police, Chitrakoot and subsequently it has come to light that the petitioner was involved in as many as three criminal cases involving in commission of offence under Section 307 IPC, Police Statioin Mau, District Chitrakoot, there appears to be no illegality in cancellation of arms license granted to the petitioner due to concealment of material facts.
The writ petition lacks merit, which is hereby dismissed."
