"1. Heard.

The instant contempt application has been filed for summoning and punishing the opposite parties and for flouting the order dated 18.07.2023 passed in Writ-A No. 18675 of 2020.

Notice is already served on respondent no. 01.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is entitled for domestic help allowance which is permissible to the High Court Judges after retirement in accordance with the provisions of Rule 15-A of the Central Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members) Rules, 1985 (hereinafter referred to as 'Rules, 1985'). He further submits that he also claimed parity with D.K. Agarawal as the applicant is aged about 85 years, who is suffering from chronic old age ailments, but the judgement has not been complied with till today.

Shri Mohit Jauhari, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents placed written instructions duly signed by Special Secretary, Department of Law, Government of U.P., and requests for some time to file affidavit. Accordingly, his prayer/request is allowed.

List this case on 29.05.2024 at 11:30 A.M.

By the next date of listing, respondent no. 01 shall file affidavit of compliance."

In pursuance of the aforesaid order, affidavit of compliance has not been filed.

Supplementary affidavit filed by the learned counsel for the applicant is taken on record.
