Respondent no. 3 i.e. Shri Chandra Vijay Singh, District Magistrate, Ayodhya, is present before this Court and has filed an application for deferment of contempt proceedings alongwith an affidavit, which is taken on record.

Learned Additional Advocate General has submitted that against the judgment and order dated 02.02.2024, passed by this Court in Writ A No. 14906 of 2018, a Special Appeal No. 148 of 2024 has been preferred by the State in which an order has been passed on 29.11.2024, which is quoted hereinbelow:-

'1. List this special appeal along with connected matters in the first week of January, 2025 within first ten cases.

2. The listing application stands disposed of accordingly.

3. It shall be open to the learned counsel for the State to make a request before the Contempt Judge that the bunch of special appeals involving the question of computation of past service as Kurk Amin on commission basis is listed on priority basis, therefore, the proceedings may be deferred till the next date of listing.

4. The request made, if any, in the light of priority granted to the bunch of matters is requested to be considered sympathetically by the Court concerned.'

On being asked from learned counsel for the parties that when is the next date fixed in the matter, it has been informed that the special appeal along with the connected special appeals is directed to be listed in the first week of January, 2025 within first ten cases.

List this case in the second week of January, 2025, within top-10 cases.

The personal appearance of respondent no. 3 is hereby exempted and he need not appear again, unless called for.
