Heard learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned A.G.A. and perused the record.

The present application has been filed by the applicant to direct learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court-II, District Pratapgarh to decide the S.T. No 8641 of 2020; (State vs. Sanjay Kumar and others), arising out of Case Crime No.024 of 2014, under Sections 498-A, 323, 506 IPC and 3/4 of D.P. Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Pratapgarh, pending before him, expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that only prayer of the applicant is that a direction may be issued to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously.

Learned A.G.A. has no objection to the innocuous prayer of the applicant.

In view of the above, without entering into merits of the case, I hereby direct learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court-II, District Pratapgarh to decide S.T. No 8641 of 2020; (State vs. Sanjay Kumar and others), arising out of Case Crime No.024 of 2014, under Sections 498-A, 323, 506 IPC and 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Pratapgarh, pending before him/her, expeditiously in accordance with law without giving any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

In view of the aforesaid terms, the application U/s 483 Cr.P.C. stands disposed of.

District authorities are also directed to ensure presence of witnesses as well as accused persons before the trial Court as the matter is related to the year 2020.
