Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the impugned proceedings are result of the matrimonial discord. He further submits that there is likelihood of the matter getting settled between the parties outside the Court, if this Court refers this matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Center of this Court.

Considering the fact that applicant no.1 and opposite party no.2 are husband and the wife and there is matrimonial discord between the parties, which has resulted in filing of the cases by opposite party no.2, one chance can be given to the parties to settle their dispute amicably outside the Court through the process of mediation.

In view thereof, this case is referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Center of this Court, where applicant no.1 and opposite party no.2 shall appear in person on 26.11.2024.

Applicant no.1 is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/(rupees twenty five thousand) before the Mediation Center on or before 26.11.2024. Out of this amount, Rs.20,000/- (rupees

twenty thousand) shall be released in favour of opposite party no.2 on her appearance before the Mediation Center.

Learned Mediator(s) is requested to get the matter settled between the parties and forward a report to this Court at an early date.

List this matter on 11.02.2025 along with the report of the Mediation Centre.

Till the next date of listing, no coercive steps shall be taken against the applicants in pursuance of the summoning order dated 15.10.2022 and the order dated 10.09.2024 passed by the Judicial Magistrate-I, Mohammadi, Kheri in Complaint Case No.293 of 2022, Husan Bano Vs. Sikandar @ Kohinoor, under Sections 498A and 323 IPC and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Pasgawan, District Kheri.
