In pursuance of the earlier order of this Court dated 09.09.2024, opposite party no.2 Smt. Manju is personally present before this Court and is also represented by Shri Dinesh Chandra, Advocate, who has filed his 'vakalatnama' on her behalf, which is taken on record. The opposite party no.2 informs that she is willing to enter into the process of mediation.

None is present for the applicant, however, having regard to the order dated 09.09.2024, wherein the willingness has been shown by the applicant to enter into the process of mediation and Rs.20,000/- in this regard appears to have been deposited, it appears in the interest of justice that the matter may be referred for mediation.

Thus the dispute between the parties is referred for mediation. The parties shall appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Bench on 16.10.2024. The money, which has been deposited by the applicant, shall be paid to the opposite party no.2 on her first appearance before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

The Incharge, Mediation and Conciliation Centre shall depute a senior mediator for resolution of the dispute between the parties and shall submit a report to this Court after conclusion of the mediation proceedings preferably within next two and a half months from today.

5. List this case on 16.12.2024 before appropriate Bench.

It is provided that till the next date of listing, further proceedings of the Criminal Complaint No.973 of 2024 (Manju Vs. Amit Kumar and Others) pending before the court below shall remain stayed.

The name of Shri Dinesh Chandra, learned counsel shall be printed in the cause list as counsel for the opposite party no.2
