- Learned counsel for the applicants states that the provisions of Gangster Act have been invoked against the applicants, on the basis of a sole base case in which he has already been acquitted by the trial court vide order dated 19.02.2024, the copy of which has been annexed as Annexure-5 to the application. Therefore, the proceedings in Gangsters Act may be quashed in view of law laid down in Farhana Versus State of U. P., SLP (Crl.) No.437 of 2023 , decided on 19.2.2024.

- Learned A.G.A. seeks and is granted two weeks' time to verify the contention raised by the learned counsel for the applicants and file response on the next date of listing.
