- Heard learned counsel for the applicants as well as learned A.G.A. None is present on behalf of respondent no.2.
- The applicants have invoked the inherent jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the entire proceedings as well as Charge sheet order dated 23.12.2020 and Summoning order dated 15.03.2021 in Case No. 624 of 2021 (State Versus Roshan and 19 others), arising out of Case Crime No. 33/2019, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 452, 504, 427, 352, 506, 325, 308 IPC, Police Station- Jani, District- Meerut, passed by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Meerut.
- Learned counsel for the applicants has submitted that during pendency of the criminal case, both the parties have settled their dispute amicably out of the Court and inked compromise on 19.07.2023 (Annexure-6) which has been filed before the court below. It is next submitted that both the parties have buried the hatchet and they have no grudges against each other, therefore, instant application may be allowed and the criminal proceeding may be quashed on the basis of the compromise.
- Learned A.G.A. has no objection in referring the matter before the court below for verification of compromise.
