Heard learned counsel for the applicants as well as learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

The present application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been moved with prayer to quash the entire proceeding of the Case No.1656 of 2023 (State vs. Suneel and others) arising out of Case Crime No.220 of 2021, under Sections 406, 504, 506 I.P.C., Police Station Kotwali, District Mainpuri pending the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, District Mainpuri and also to quash the impugned charge sheet dated 17.07.2021 submitted in the aforesaid case as well as the impugned order dated 01.07.2022 whereby cognizance has been taken against the applicants in the light of compromise/agreement dated 10.11.2023.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicants that in this case dispute was settled between the parties amicably and compromise was filed before the learned trial court on 10.11.2023 and it has already been verified by the learned court, a certified copy thereof is on record, therefore, request to quash the entire proceedings of the case in terms of compromise as entered into between the parties.

Learned A.G.A. has no objection in this regard.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, submissions made by learned counsel for the applicants as well as learned A.G.A. and the verified compromise dated 10.11.2023, it appears that the dispute has been settled amicably between the parties on the basis of compromise, therefore, keeping the proceedings pending before the learned trial court will serve no purpose. Hence, in the interest of justice the entire proceedings of the aforesaid case are, hereby, quashed.

Accordingly, this application is allowed.
