Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.

This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred against the order dated 18.04.2024, passed by the A.C.J.M., Court No. 7, Allahabad, in complaint case No. 1796 of 2011, under Section 406 I.P.C., P.S. George Town, district Allahabad, by means of which non-bailable warrants have been issued against the applicant.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the aforesaid case applicant was granted bail on 28.06.2014 and thereafter he was continuously appearing before the trial court but no progress was made. In the year 2018 applicant has gone for working out of the State and after some time there has been covid-19 pandemic. Learned counsel further submits that now non-bailable warrants have been issued against the applicant. It was stated that applicant is willing to appear before the trial court concerned and protection may be granted to the applicant till then.

In view of the aforesaid, it is directed that in case applicant appears/surrenders before the trial court concerned within a period of two weeks from today and applies for bail/cancellation of non-

bailable warrants, his application shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with settled law. For a period of two weeks from today or till the applicant appears/surrenders before the court concerned, whichever is earlier, no coercive action shall be taken against the applicant.

The application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed of in above terms.
