This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed with a prayer to issue a direction, direct the trial court decide the Case No. 1173 of 2017 (State of U.P. vs. Santosh Kumar Pandey and other) under Sections 323, 333, 504, 353 IPC as well as Case Crime No. 156 of 2017, Police Station Lohata, District Varanasi pending before the Court No. IV, A.C.J.M., Varanasi matter expeditiously within short span of time as fixed by this Court in the interest of justice.
Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2017. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.
